How often should panels be cleaned?

For most Aussie homes, once or twice a year keeps output strong. Near trees, the coast, farmland or heavy dust, more often pays off. We can remind you.

Can't the rain just clean them?

Rain rinses loose dust but leaves the sticky film, bird mess and edge grime that actually cost you output. Rinsed isn't washed.

Will it really lower my bill?

If your panels are dirty, yes, you start capturing the power you're throwing away. How much depends on system size, how dirty they were and your tariff. The calculator up top gives a rough idea.
